You know, I cannot figure it out. Do we hate magic or don't we? Because Inquisition means something totally different where I'm from and I'm getting real mixed messages around here. Bad enough that some of you think that I'm like. What. A hallucination or something? Minrathous is the largest city in Thedas. Outside Tevinter, Val Royeaux or Cumberland. If you mean here in the Free Marches, Starkhaven is largest.

Okay, last question first: in the south, it's Val Royeaux. If you're human and look like you're noble or wealthy, you'll do alright. Otherwise, they'll treat you like shit. Total snobs, the lot of them.

As for spirits...eh, I try to keep them at arm's length. Not all of them are malicious assholes, but none of them are 'safe'. They don't think like us, don't exist like us, and that gap is pretty important when it comes to interacting with them. People forget that, and it ends badly.

Spirit to me is just a ghost. Like, boo, motherfucker. The dearly departed clinging to the remnants of this plane of existence. Fairy is like...pretty princess Tinkerbell little sparkly magical girl with wings. Alternately fae stuff that if you're, like, Irish or whatever you don't fuck around with.
