Do you wish to ponder why the people of Thedas hate their elves, or the elves who have arrived here?

Well, I'm not actually accusing you. I'm just saying that people say that where I'm from. Not eating them. I think just kidnapping.

The Cuca eats kids, though.

The people around here hate elves and I don't know why. Except for the trigger happy sensitive guy who told me I sleep where I shit, you all seem okay.

And your judgment is kinder than most. Quite a number of people in Thedas dislike me...but there are more who feel less adversarial. I suspect the former have focused on the other nature of the Elves and that they fear the possibilities within that nameless quality.

Well, I've met plenty of spirits that don't eat or kidnap babies.

Then you do not dislike the elves you have met...the one who has insulted you aside?

Well, I haven't met any that make think I need to stop them from hurting people, so that's a plus.

I have met precious few elves who delight in wanton violence. There have been some, of course, but I know of none here.

[To her knowledge Iorveth only practices fully intentional and preplanned violence, but she does not know him terribly well.]

The elves of Thedas are not all capable of magic...but my kin are, by in large. Does magic discomfit you?
