Hello, crystal-people! My name is Jester and I am a tiefling and a cleric and a Rifter, so here I look like a qunari, which, if you don't know what a qunari is, I am really really tall and built like a brick shit house--

[Speaking to a crystal is weird. Jester is holding it up close to her mouth in case she is not easily heard through whatever crystals are made out of. Her voice (accented, something like Eastern European) comes through loud. All the more so because she is feeling a lot of emotion right now.]

And there are a lot of people talking about gods and religion and stuff, yeah--so I just wanted you all to know that if you do not have a god that talks to you, you can totally, totally worship the Traveler. Because he is a super-awesome god, and he will definitely answer you if you need him to answer you, like not always, sometimes he is probably busy or something, with god stuff, I guess, I don't know--but he will teach you cool tricks and tell you all kinds of new things! And he is very handsome, and he has a cool voice that you will get to hear too.

Because I just heard that people here do not have a god that talks to them and I think that is really sad, because the Traveler was really nice to me when I was lonely. And nobody should feel like they are really lonely, and if you do feel like that, and you don't want a new god, that's okay, but I will be your friend anyways.

And I have pamphlets that I can give you. About the Traveler. If you want to learn more, but you don't have to, okay?

And no-o, I'm a cleric! Not a priest. I don't think the Traveler has any priests. And if he does, he doesn't talk about them ever. And also, I think it is probably pretty boring to be a priest. Like, they stay inside most of the time, I think.

I grew up in convent and was thinking all religions must be having priests and nuns. Churches needing clerics, yes?

Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, sure, some of them. But the Traveler doesn't have a temple, probably. Like, that's what makes him a traveler, you know? He travels. So where would the priests and the nuns live?

I would not want to live in a stinky old temple, man.

From Toril? I'm sorry your shape was changed in coming here. You're not the first I've heard of who had that happen. Are you still able to talk to the Traveller while you're here? Only, I thought that was impossible.

From Nicodranas. I don't know where Toril is. Is that like, on the weird side of Tal'Dorei. Are there really other tieflings here that you know about that I don't? That would be awesome.

And yeah, man! I can talk to the Traveler. Why would I not be able to talk to the Traveler?

Oh, no. I've not heard of Tal'Dorei, I'm sorry. I suppose Toril isn't the only world with tieflings, then. You're the first I've met from anywhere else.

There's at least one other, but I don't know if you've met him. His name is Chance? And, well. I met a Paladin whose connection with her god was broken through being here, is the main reason why. I thought that would hold true for everyone. No?

[Awestruck, Jester tries to consider other world tieflings. Then again, there's lots of planes: Elemental Planes, the Astral Plane, the Prime Materium Plane, Paralalalala Plane, or whatever... maybe Toril is on the Tiefling Plane. How cool would that be?!]

I don't know any Chances, but now I really really want to meet him so I can see if he looks like a qunari too, or if he got to keep his tail, or what! That sucks about the paladin. Who is her god? Maybe the Traveler can talk to him and ask him to come and talk to her.

[Except the Traveler probably won't do that. It isn't his style. But she can ask, right? Right!]

Yeah I have heard of Sarenrae! Like, it is a name that I have heard. She is a goddess, right, healing, and light, and um... coupons...

And yeah, like basically no one knows about the Traveler. He is really, really exclusive right now, you know? That's what the pamphlets are for!

Sure you can read a pamphlet. I can bring it right to you, if I want! My legs are basically the second longest in the Gallows, I think. Do you have any Sarenrae pamphlets to trade for it?

Ey oh ey! Daniel! What's up, how are yo-ou? I am doing great. Obviously. I am having such a good time and making lots and lots of friends.

[Ah, yes, so even on other worlds those religious sorts still always go on about their gods, that sounds familiar... Well. Admittedly, he sort of misses those talks with Sebastian a bit.]

Is it even possible for gods to communicate, when you're not in the same world? Do you hear this Traveler here?

[Though, he's a bit unsure how he feels about gods who talk back. Not that he's too sure how he feels about ones who don't.]

We-ell, not yet. But he is a god. So A, he can probably do whatever he wants, you know? Even talk to me in another world. He talked to me in Zadash, and he wasn't even supposed to be there.

And besides. B, he is a god, so he is pro-bably pretty busy. Doing god stuff. Like, he doesn't talk to me all the time. So it is no big.

[ She has her faith, but she wonders what it must be like to have such a personal relationship with your good. ]

Oh, sure sure sure sure sure. I get to talk to the Traveler a lot. Sometimes he just shows up, and he's like, [and she drops her tone to something deeper and more mysterious,] Jester, you are so cool and funny and a good artist and basically probably my favorite.

[Normal, now:] Plus other stuff too. And he has taught me so much cool stuff. Li-ike... well, I can make people like me. I mean, people like me, because I am very very sweet and likeable. But also the Traveler taught me a trick for how to make people like me extra.
