Mistreatment? The Orlesian Chantry is the reason elves are forced to assimilate into Alienages and give up their culture to be accepted as servants. It's no sin, in their eyes, to treat them as lesser beings. Whaddya think they do to the elves that don't give up their gods and ways of life?
