so ok
you don't have too much blood or whatever in you, you have a virus
it can be transmitted from person to person
when you cough/sneeze/breathe grossly it becomes airborne through saliva/mucus particles
if a healthy person is exposed to said particles they can contract that virus
touching with hands do the same thing
that's why quarantine is fine so is isolation
so stay put and rest up and try not to die in there
no subject
what's a virus
where did i get it
i never got a receipt
no subject
or maybe they drank from a cup and it wasn't washed properly and you drank from it too
or they wiped their face and used a handrail that you also used and then you wiped your face
no receipts, no boundaries
welcome to my hell
no subject
WHERE is it
why can't i see it??
no subject
they are organisms kind of
and they are in you
which is fine because they'll die out when you hit a fever or something

Air contamination makes sense, but how is virus spread via touch when it's internal?
Additionally could you specify what you mean by greens?
no subject
it is not caused by an overproduction of phlegm
and by touch i mean another means of delivery/transfer. saliva/mucus on skin transferred to surfaces or other people. viruses can survive externally for a day or two.
greens like spinach. blueberries are good but i ran out of paper room. they boost your immune system.

Please expand on what you mean by immune system.

Fortunately-- ]
it's called germ theory and the research division already has some notes on it from a previous Rifter who was obviously an expert in this field.
i can pass them along if you're interested.
short answers:
virus = microscopic organisms that need a host to live and replicate. it causes illness through cell disruption. runs its course over time.
immune system = general term for the biological processes of combatting illness on a cellular level.

That's absolutely fascinating. There was always the assumption that the Taint was primarily confined in the Deep Roads, with the exception of Blights.

microscopic = very tiny and invisible to the eye without the use of a microscope which hasn't been invented yet.
cellular = referring to cells aka The Building Blocks of Life. the structures of which are microscopic but are what all living organisms are composed. of. take my word for it.

What is a microscope and how are they made?
