So, question time. I think it's finally time to get a tattoo, and I'm interested in references to a tattoo artist, if you know any. The closer to Skyhold the better...though actually, Antiva City would also do, because reasons. Anywhere within the Inquisition's reach is fine; I'm not in a huge rush, but...it's time, and I want to consider options.

Or you can just tell me about your tattoos and what meaning they have for you. I'm always interested in that sort of thing. If you're planning to get one, whether you have any now or not, that counts too.

Or they imagined you did. The people in masks -Orlesian nobles- have practically made outrage a sport. If they think they've been slighted, it never ends.

I get the feeling that happens in every world.

Not nearly as much as everywhere else. Actually, Skyhold and the Inquisition as a whole is a lot more accepting. They don't care about what you are or where you've been, only what you can do now. That's starting to trickle elsewhere. The more people are desperate, the less they care about shit they thought mattered before. It sure as hell doesn't matter now.

What it'll be like after we kill Corypheus, though--I've no idea.

You mean they're focusing on what actually matters? Imagine that.

To put it another way: Corypheus tore the fucking sky open, something that could have swallowed this world without all that Blight nonsense, but then a woman appeared who was exactly what we needed when we needed it. She died sealing that hole, but then all of you arrived, with her mark, the one chance we have of making this right. And we're still here. So, I'd say there is a chance, even if it's a small one. Even if we have to go through a lot of hell to get there.

In my experience, the hell is a requirement. And unfortunately, it's rare that everyone makes it out alive.

...yeah, mine too. But like a dumbass, I keep hoping this time will be different.
