I was always an outsider with my clan, since I was training to be the First and they- weren't. I thought Marethari would pick someone for me, actually -- maybe from my clan, maybe from another one. Maybe someone who was good at healing.

I do have a dog of my own, too! He's just smaller. Barkley will miss Jayne too, but yes, I'll have to find him some other friends.
