FORM: Sending Crystal
SENDER: Josephine Montilyet
RECIPIENT: Everyone!
WHAT: A question! (Please talk to her, she's lonely.)
WHEN: Current
WHERE: Skyhold
NOTES: n/a
Good evening, everyone. My name is Josephine Montilyet and I am the Ambassador for the Inquisition. I've not had the pleasure of meeting as many of you as would like personally, so... I thought this might be an easier, more - ah - approachable way of getting to know each other better.
( She clears her throat as though to prevent herself from rambling. )
I must confess I do not know where to start. Perhaps a conversational ice-breaker will have to do. ( So much for not rambling. ) What do you miss most about your life before the Inquisition?

[She could choose to be not diplomatic at all and likely not be wrong, given how often it breaks down. But that's not the point...or, well, not exactly.]
It'd help if the Doctor could fly it as well as he claims to, mind, but I think sometimes that ship has a mind of its own. I'd thought for sure when I first came here that it'd be around somewhere, because it'd be just like it to wind up tumbling through a rift too.

( Rifters have such fascinating lives. )

[That one gets him to pause for a moment because he actually has to think about that. Before the silence gets to be too much, though, he goes back on - although it's with a shake of his head, even if she can't see it.]
Aye, well, I don't think so, but- remember when I told you about that lava? There really was lava, and we had to get away from that in a hurry, and we wound up using this wee device the Doctor had to do so. It sort of put us outside of normal, erm, space. Not sure if that'd count as a rift or not.

Is it similar to the Fade?

[Because he's not sure if any of the other rifters have mentioned those to her or not, it seems like a good way to cover his bases there. Although, now that she mentions it...]
Aside from that, I've been told there were some parts of the place that could seem like a bad Fade dream. So maybe it is, a bit. I do know I wasn't dreaming when I was there, though. Especially when that unicorn came charging at us.

[It was exciting. He has to give her that.]
You know, once I get back, I could maybe tell you about a few of them, if you'd like.
no subject
I would like that.

Then I'll do that, then. I should probably let you get going for now, though. I'd not want to keep you from your duties.

Until next time.

Aye. Hopefully it'll be soon, at least.
