Hello. In case I have not met a number of you, [ It's been a month. He's been— occupied. ] This is Speaker Fabria. I manage Project Haven, which works to maintain good relations with the Chantry, and through it the Inquisition.
There has been some news of late that is— [ concerning? ha ha nah. ] perhaps relevant to some our number. Evidently, a blackhaller in Ferelden agreed to hear charges brought against a Templar by a mage, regarding the former's conduct in Kinloch Hold. In the absence of an active Circle or any other clear process to resolve the complaint, my understanding is that Queen Anora supported the blackhaller's decision, and asserted Fereldan's right to handle disputes that arise within their own borders in this instance.
[ Like mages were citizens or something. Madness. ]
Her Holiness Divine Beatrix has subsequently appointed a Brother and Sister in Val Royeaux to receive and respond to charges brought against either mages or Templars. In the future, any such complaints must be delivered to Val Royeaux by the complaintants in person, so that their identities may be verified.
[ """so that their identities may be verified""" ]
—On an unrelated note, while I have a moment of your attention, I would ask everyone to remember that our relationship with the Chantry is vital to our ability to work seamlessly with the Inquisition and defeat Corypheus. I understand we have gained several Chantry representatives among our number of late, and I hope their presence is beneficial to that end.
If you have any concerns about your [ wildly illegal blood magic experiments or ] ability to represent Riftwatch in a manner inoffensive to the Chantry, please come to me personally. Project Haven exists to help all of us find ways to work peaceably together toward a common goal.

[ Why does everyone act like he's grown a second head when he asks that etc. ]

[ By 'be like that' she means being unconditionally kind. ]
I don't really know anymore, if I like doing anything.
[ She was disoriented. Everything was unfamiliar here, and on her own. ]

We can start with what you're good at, if that's simpler. Even reading and writing Nevarran is a useful skill here.

[ She's not going to deny she can read and write, her stubbornness doesn't go quite that far. ]
'suppose the rest of the time I would just... sew frocks and feed the chickens? When I wasn't...
[ On a bender. ]
Hhh.

We've frocks and chickens in the Gallows, too.
Perhaps something in Base Operations, to start. The Seneschal can always use extra hands.

[ Those are her mother's words, not her own, bitter in her mouth. ]
I mean... Don't they expect me to do more?
[ Your cousin is a garbled mess when it comes to understanding worth, but maybe you are too. ]

[ Someone has to feed them. ]
It is not the sort of work that will save you from γιαγιά's inevitable disappointment, of course, but-- [ Hm. ] I don't know. I have found Riftwatch to be refreshingly practical in some ways.

[ Just! Saying! It had sounded like some bullshit. ]
no subject
[ Don't call him out like that, Maker. ]
Well, the Diplomacy Division is perhaps not the best example.

[ Speaking of diplomacy. There was a reason it hadn't been Amal writing writing the letters home. ]
