You and me both. Hula skirts and mojitos on the beach. I can't tell you the last time I went to a beach that didn't have bandits on it.

Yeah. I mean, I guess it's not much different than a city beach back home would be with assholes looking to rob people.

Well, okay, no, not on every city beach, but I was thinking like, L.A.

L.A.'s on the beach, right? I've, uh, never been to California.

Yeah, it's there. I went like eight or nine years ago, but I mostly just fucked around Orange County.

And clearly didn't get robbed on the beach. Earth, one, Thedas, zero.

Okay, I didn't get robbed, but there are enough assholes roaming the Wounded Coast that it could happen.

But you'd be with the rest of Forces, right? Strength in numbers and all.

Well, not always. Like I don't have to be on a mission to leave the city. And sometimes you help people from other divisions and it's a whole thing.

[ Her shrug may not be audible, but it's sort of in her tone too. ]

Point is, the Wounded Coast is a shitty area. I'm down for hearing about some nice, scenic beaches of Thedas. Not sure any actually exist, or if they did, that they aren't overrun with Venatori or some shit by now.

It's kind of a prerequisite when making a cult. Like, "is this going to be a group that fucks people over in some way?" And if the answer's yes, you're in cult territory, my friend.
