Not usually, no. The red lyrium infected monstrosities up north haven't made it this way, either. Most of the trouble comes from bandits on the coast, but they're predictable enough. Time the diving with patrols from our people, and that issue goes away. Or throw a jar of bees at them, that works too.

Yep. I know how it sounds, but it's an excellent way to cause panic. I teach it at my grenades class, among other things.

You teach a grenades class?

[gatheringstorm]

Yep, I try to cover how to craft and use different types; from healing mist grenades, to pitch grenades, to the antivan kind that set everything on fire. It's near the alchemy area, though potions are a different category.

Absolutely, I'm always willing to teach new people as long as they're willing to listen. I tend to teach about twice a week when I'm not away, in the alchemy area of the Gallows. If you smell elfroot and spindleweed, you're probably headed in the right direction. I try to save the explosions for Wounded Coast field trips.

This is the second time I've heard someone mention elfroot. What is it exactly?

It's a plant often used in healing potions, among others.

People also use it to get stoned, but they'll catch so much shit if they do that with Inquisition stock, since we need all that we can get for legit uses.

Yeah, my sister mentioned it, but she says she hasn't tried it herself.

As far as things that will fuck you up go, it's not terribly high on that list unless you have a shit-ton of it. And by that point, just about anything will be terrible for you.
