Apparently someone has seen fit to play a prank upon me. When I find out who's responsible, you will regret it... especially if it's you, Anders. [That agitated growl comes into his voice momentarily. Then there's a pause and a long sigh, followed by the sound of vigorous scratching. Though the latter is probably tricky to entirely guess at, it's at least apparent that he's doing something in the background.]

I thought we were all above such behavior. Unless someone can provide a better explanation for this...

[But he doesn't get to elaborate, as he's again too distracted by the incessant itching.]

[They definitely do often hurt, from time to time ebbing and flowing, so that he sometimes doesn't notice, and other times... it's all he can think about. He's come to accept that, to simply bear it and say little on the matter save a hint of a comment here and there. But this is different entirely.]

Shouting is an exaggeration. Anyway, I have no idea what happened... hence why I resorted to discussing it on here.

No, but they'll be aware that I won't tolerate this. If it is caused by someone's meddling...

Have you considered that it isn't? There's been something strange going around, from what I've heard.

Most likely, but I doubt it's one person doing this. Seems an awful lot for one mage to manage on their own, especially with so many watchful eyes about.

Perhaps not, but you can't deny that the cause has to be magical in some way.

It's a possibility. [Or maybe this is some as of until now unknown effect of having lyrium embedded in his skin.] Would a salve or something like it help? Surely Anders has a ton of it piled up somewhere.

[The possible sudden discovery of something weird about the lyrium is definitely a troubling thought he's been having.]

It might... Bethany is bringing some things over, so we'll see whether or not that works. At this point, I may be desperate enough to try anything. Almost anything.

[Is he yet desperate enough to go begging to Anders for help? Not yet, but he definitely hopes that moment doesn't come.]

[Carver's not entirely fond of Anders either, but sometimes one has to swallow their pride. Though he's not daft enough to tell that to Fenris. He likes his innards where they are, thanks.]

I trust Bethany, which is more than I can say for most.

It's better than nothing, anyway. [He's definitely reached that point where he can't take it anymore, and needs to do anything he can to at least minimize the effects.]
