Apparently someone has seen fit to play a prank upon me. When I find out who's responsible, you will regret it... especially if it's you, Anders. [That agitated growl comes into his voice momentarily. Then there's a pause and a long sigh, followed by the sound of vigorous scratching. Though the latter is probably tricky to entirely guess at, it's at least apparent that he's doing something in the background.]

I thought we were all above such behavior. Unless someone can provide a better explanation for this...

[But he doesn't get to elaborate, as he's again too distracted by the incessant itching.]

It's the first explanation I could come up with. It's not as if... [He pauses, trying to get at an especially annoying area on his back. Ahhhh... got it, that's good... Alongside the itching, it's taken on a... rash-like appearance, raised as if it were an allergic reaction. The unsettling part is that it follows the lyrium brands specifically.

There's surely a cautionary tale in this somewhere about infusing lyrium into one's flesh.

I don't know that for certain, it just seems to be spreading along the course of the brands. [He grumbles in frustration, because what he just said sounds exactly like it's lyrium-based. Ignoring the advice about healers for he time being, he adds...] Anyway, why would this be happening now? There's no reason for it...

Fenris, templars have been coming down with weird symptoms, alongside rifters. You know, the guys who take lyrium? So yeah, get yourself checked out.

So I'm starting to hear... but I don't know what they'll be able to do, right not, other than attempt to alleviate the symptoms.

[His situation is quite different than others, after all, even if the lyrium commonality is a bit unsettling. He's a little bit wary of someone seeing this as a chance for experimentation of some sort. Yes, he knows it's different and for a different cause, but... yeah, no, he's going to pass on that for now.]
