The theological status of Rifters will only gain controversy, as we draw closer to a new Divine. I needn’t state the importance of not aggravating matters within Kirkwall.

S'pose what I'm getting at is whether they'd know or want to ask for the kind of help that might solve the problem, rather than prolong it until something explodes. Again.

They have worked this city far longer than we. [ the inquisition claiming no one but they can know the solution for a problem of their own making, laying blame at the feet of the guard for the actions of a criminal they yet harbor — that would not play well at all ] There were incidents at the site prior to our arrival, handled ably. Reconstruction was halted only for lack of funds.
