[Crystals ping to life as Adasse clears his throat, mutters, 'All right, let's do this.']
Good afternoon there, Inquisition. It is your two newest scouts, Adasse Agassi and my companion in arms -
In that what we're going with? Companion in arms? Okay, fine. Okay. And his brave companion in arms, Haelan.
Well I am sure they already know you're my best mate, y'whiner. Anyways - we've taken note that some of the merchants have been giving a bit of the cold shoulder - and we thought to ourselves, Haelan and Adasse, you can help with this.
Over the years we have built up a relationship with many of the city's merchants and traders and we are willing to use this to your advantage- we can do your shopping for you! And I'm not a whiner.
For a modest fee, naturally. And yes, you are.
A very fair fee, as we'll drop off your shopping where-ever you like within the city. Don't want to carry your stuff from Hightown back to the Gallows? No problem, we'll do it for you. Can't go through Lowtown until the Carta back off? No problem, we'll go pick up your groceries.
And no, I'm not.
Nothing is too big, or too small, or too hard to get our hands on ... outside of dragons. And dragon bits. That's just - you have to kill a dragon for that and we try to avoid dragons as much as possible. It's a life choice where we decide to live.
Soooooo are.
And haunted stuff. I'm not dealing with haunted stuff. But if you have your dragon bits ordered from someone else, we can go pick those up for you! No problem.
Shut up.
We also do messages, love letters, hate letters, and just general communication outside of the Gallows proper. Inside the Gallows proper we do that for free, as it's sort of our job.
You love me.
If you want us to sing your messages, there is an extra charge. If Adasse does any singing we have to pay for people to see Healers. And yeah, I love you.

For the most part.

Except when they are outweighed by our 'need to eat' instincts. That's usually what gets us into trouble.
no subject
You are welcome to where I live to eat with me so you may avoid that. Assuming you do not mind eating with one born Avvar.

Well, Haelan and his spirit thing. But I was raised by a mage so I've not got his hang-ups with it.

For your meals I will only ask for herbs for medicines. When you can get them. If not the food will still be there for you whenever you like.
[She'll even keep from questioning how you get your hands on them. You guys just get her herbs and she'll feed you. The end.]
no subject
Ah! Easy enough. You get me a list and we'll see that sorted for you. [... yes probably best if you do not ask.]
no subject
Are you able to write?
no subject
I know, shocking. An educated elf.
[So so much dryness.]
Still they let me out in pubic ...

[Now that does surprise him. He thought all the human types were taught that.]
Well, if you ever want to learn ...
[Might as well offer.]
Tell me where you live, and I'll be about directly.
no subject
Most Avvar cannot read or write.
[A pause.]
...if you are willing to teach me then I would not mind learning.
[If she's to live among the lowlanders from now on she supposes she should learn.]
no subject
[Because he likes blaming the Chantry.]
I'll be happy too. Passing along knowledge's valuable to us on the wrong side of the Greater Powers line, yeah?
no subject
[She laughs softly.]
I like that. Thank you.
no subject
[Because honestly the Chantry's a right bunch of wankers to the lot of them.]
You're quite welcome, and when are you free for me to scribble this list?
no subject
[Seriously, she likes anyone who is anti-Chantry or Circle or whatever involving that.]
I am free now. I am here since I am making medicines.
no subject
[You're in luck, he's both.]
I shall swing on by then. Aaaah you like nugs right?
no subject
[Oh good. More points to you, new friend.]
Have you one? A fennec lives with me but I can be certain he sleeps in his den if you feel your nug would be in danger. Though, nug are not what he hunts so your friend would be safe from him all the same.
[She promises!]
no subject
[Especially when they got their heads on straight.]
I do, his name is Coco and he's adorable. And as long as the fennec's good, I'm good.
no subject
I have very few so I welcome more.
I can provide food for your friend as well. There is no need for his belly to go hungry either.
no subject
Well he'll be happy to have it.
[Once Adasse proved to him that mages didn't poison food sheeeesh.]
