Good day, Inquisition. I apologize if there's some etiquette for using these things that was not explained to me, but otherwise I wished to introduce myself. My name is Enchanter Julius, formerly of Kinloch Hold, and I'm a new addition to the research department. I look forward to working with you.
If anyone is need of assistance on more personal matters, too, do let me know. I'm handy with both glyphs and runes, especially, and I'm happy to do what I can.

Nice to have you onboard. [Might as well get the introductions out of the way, he thinks.] I'm Kit--with the Scouting division. Just took over the Other Powers special project, too.

[Sure doesn't take them long to schlep responsibility onto newcomers, though.] Anyhow, once you're settled in, might be good for us to exchange some notes. My project is a little--[okay, incredibly]--understaffed right now, and anyone with decent research skills is someone whose good books I need to stay in.

[Okay, maybe not only that. Still.]
Perhaps you might even recruit me, if I end up interested enough in what I find.

Marius Bellrose, do you mean? If so, I doubt those were his exact words.

[Now there's a name she hadn't expected to hear again.]
This is Inessa Serra, likewise from Kinloch Hold. I'm glad to hear another of my former circle has arrived safetly.

[He sounds genuinely pleased. For all they hadn't been especially close, well, a familiar face (and a much less complicated one than Anders) won't go amiss.]
It's been ages. How are you? I mean, under the circumstances, I suppose.
[It's a complicated time.]

I'm well. My title is Warden now, and I've been fortunate to have been in the Inquisition's company for over a year now. I was one of the first to help make Kirkwall our new home, as well. If I can be of assistance, I offer it gladly.

[Some are classified, some bring back terrible memories, but there are some moments she can share, and think he might appreciate.]
And I would hear whatever you wish to tell me, of your own adventures.

[SOMEONE'S got a mild case of hero worship. Calm down there, Myr.]
--I, ah, sorry. Got ahead of myself. Myrobalan Shivana, lately of Hasmal Circle. I work with glyphs myself.
no subject
Really? There was more than one of my colleagues who were sure that no one would ever read anything I bothered writing. [A shame they're probably not around to be proven wrong, really.]
My thanks for the compliment, though, and a pleasure to meet you. I'd enjoy discussing your findings sometime, if you like.
no subject
The pleasure's all mine. I'd be glad to talk shop whenever's convenient for you, although--ah--I'm more in implementations myself.
no subject
What sort of implementation interests you, specifically?
this series of icons: blonds have more fun, thedas edition
Mostly I've been working on noncombat applications of standard battle glyphs, though that's nothing particularly innovative. Scaling them down and defanging them, turning--say--one for repulsion into more general protection against the elements. Also have a side project for modifying marker glyphs so they're more useful to the blind.

Hopefully this doesn't contradict any DA canon? I looked but didn't find anything
I'm the worst person to consult on canonicity of anything in DA, ahaha
