Hello everyone, this is Jim Kirk speaking.

I'm going to be conducting some experiments on leather samples I have been provided and I need help from anyone so inclined. I could use the help of anyone strong and can swing weapons, and also the help of several mages with varying expertise - fire, ice, that sort of thing.

They don't exactly call for entirely traditional components, and it took some fiddling and adapting to get them to work the way they're supposed to. I don't know if I could fix a blaster the same way I fixed the saber, for instance.

Huh. Well, maybe you could take a look at a couple of pieces I have? Maybe there's a way to get them functioning, even if only halfway. So far I haven't found a good work around for components.

I lived on what many people considered a "backwater" planet. That being said, even we had more technology than this place. I never thought I'd miss that junkyard.
