[ Getting off topic there Alistair. ]

Politics aside, [ Alistair's voice continues, with scolding emphasis aimed at himself, ] who wears skirts better, do you think? Mages or Templars?

Why read about something you want but think for much of your life that you can't have, when you can read about something you possibly can have?

Because the other one is more interesting than a detailed explanation of... [ She clicks her tongue, trying to think of an appropriate summary without being coarse about it. ] ...body parts being stuck into other body parts and gyrated.

But there's also pressed against and gyrated, or held and gyrated, there's so many variations of gyrations. Whereas with most romances the other stuff is about how pretty the skirts she bought are, and where she got them, and what they're made of, and why they're better than someone else's skirts but oh, look, that man is pretty. It's all repetitive. I like one bit of repetitive, you like the other.

Ugh, no. You clearly haven't been reading the right books. A good story will be a slowburn emotional journey that details how two people overcome whatever obstacles the plot construes of while learning how to--

Well, I don't know enough on the topic to be able to have a debate with any merit to it, so I suppose I will have to concede due to my ignorance on the subject matter.

You can't leave me with this, Beleth. I'm caught between winning and calling you out on your clear lie and possibly losing. I can't believe you're doing this to me, after what you gave me.

I don't know what you're talking about. I can't even read Common.

Please. I've spent a great deal of time with Varric, Isabela, and Oghren, Beleth. You can't bullshit me here.

You win, gyrating body parts are the obviously superior choice. Hooray.

No, I win because you're clearly deeply in denial. I'd say it's hardly fun, but it's actually a great deal of fun.
