Politics aside - is that possible? Can we do that? I have faith in you, all of you -
[ Getting off topic there Alistair. ]
Politics aside, [ Alistair's voice continues, with scolding emphasis aimed at himself, ] who wears skirts better, do you think? Mages or Templars?

People choosing mages or people being biased?

Well, you did ask for an opinion. Opinions are, by nature, biased.

[ He does not suppose. But he needs a moment to muster the confidence to argue with someone who sounds so certain. ]
Usually when someone says they're biased it means they're not answering the question. Which has better hygiene, a mabari or a cat? [ He changes his voice for the different characters in this imaginary situation. ] "A mabari, because dogs are superior"—no one asked which you like better overall. I'm trying not to start a brawl.

But the answer to that will be informed by both fact and opinion. Ultimately if you love mabari more than cats, you're more likely to have the opinion of the mabari being cleaner if there are no overwhelming facts to say otherwise.
Where as if I ask you "what color is better - red or purple?", that question is going to be answered based on your bias alone. When you ask which of something wears something better, that's not a fact based question. It's an opinion question, so bias naturally comes into it of whom you like better out of the options.
I just happened to acknowledge that.

[ He laughs. ]
Well you have me there.
I like the construction of the mage robes I've seen better. They seem to fit the purpose where as the templar ones I've seen look cumbersome and awkward.
And I can argue quite certainly that one mage has a very lovely trimmed waist that fits their robes nicely, too.

Who said anything about flirting? I was offering up facts, just as you requested.
[ There is laughter in his tone. ]
