My my, what a time it has been. Arrests, releases, and a soiree? I'm surprised we have time to breathe. Creators, and I still need to visit a barber for a trim, but alas I have much paperwork to complete.

So, since I am woefully unfortunate and haven't the time for even a single game of cards, I've a verbal game to request for those who have the time. Everyone else who's busy being serious or sulking in a corner, please feel free to ignore but understand you're always welcome to play. I always have time for you.

A simple game. Two truths and a lie. Play with me or each other, it doesn't matter, but I like a bit of entertainment during droll times such as these. If you're unfamiliar with the rules, it's rather simple:

Tell me three statements about yourself. Two should be truthful and one should be a lie, and I must guess which one is a lie. I would prefer if you didn't use statistics as an easy way out, such as "I have three brothers" is the lie when you really have two. Get creative, please.

I'll gladly begin:

I used to be part of a crew of pirates, I was going to be a halla herder, and I have a tattoo on my right arm.

He did not think to run- and ended up high on an elm. It took forever to get him back down.

[There's an exhale that's dangerously close to the first laugh Anders has had in a very, very long time.]

Maker, I wish I'd been there to see that. Tell me, did you need ropes? Ladders? Did you have to stand on Alistair's shoulders while he stood on Sten's and Wynne glowered as she always did? ...Or did she, for once, maybe not glower?

She laughed. And then left us to our predicament of fetching him.

We ended up felling the tree. Much simpler.
justice_is_blond: (Just going to interrupt now)

If only you'd had Velanna. She could have used vines to haul him out of the tree. Then again, she wouldn't have. She too would have left you to do the work.

Any reason Morrigan didn't turn into a bear, climb up, and seize him with her teeth... Wait. All the reason. Forget I asked. Felling the tree was the only way to go.
ombranera: (Well if that is how you feel...)

Less death, that way.
justice_is_blond: (A small atonement)

Mm.

[He'd say 'less death is nice,' but that's... not going to generally go over well. Zevran would be fine with it. Others who might be listening, not so much.]

It's a good day when Oghren survives it.
