My my, what a time it has been. Arrests, releases, and a soiree? I'm surprised we have time to breathe. Creators, and I still need to visit a barber for a trim, but alas I have much paperwork to complete.
So, since I am woefully unfortunate and haven't the time for even a single game of cards, I've a verbal game to request for those who have the time. Everyone else who's busy being serious or sulking in a corner, please feel free to ignore but understand you're always welcome to play. I always have time for you.
A simple game. Two truths and a lie. Play with me or each other, it doesn't matter, but I like a bit of entertainment during droll times such as these. If you're unfamiliar with the rules, it's rather simple:
Tell me three statements about yourself. Two should be truthful and one should be a lie, and I must guess which one is a lie. I would prefer if you didn't use statistics as an easy way out, such as "I have three brothers" is the lie when you really have two. Get creative, please.
I'll gladly begin:
I used to be part of a crew of pirates, I was going to be a halla herder, and I have a tattoo on my right arm.

It'll be good practice. ]
You were going to be a First, the Second is in charge of the halla. That is the lie.
[ Of course, that's an assumption based on how her clan does it. ]
The beast I hunted to earn my vallaslin was a wolf, I also have a tattoo on my arm, and I am the youngest child in my family.

[He chuckles quietly.]
I don't think the beast you hunted for your vallaslin was a wolf. They seem... to give you a hard time.
no subject
You're correct, it wasn't a wolf. Amusingly, the beast I did kill...was related to that incident. A little more dangerous than wolves, normally.
--And remembering something like that is hardly flattering. I recalled it because I find it that much more disappointing that someone with so much responsibility fled it. Now that I know you better, of course, it's not quite as surprising.
[ You wanna go. ]

For my first escape from the Circle, I hid in a barrel that was being returned to the mainland. My fifth, I swam over ten miles to shore. For my eighth and last, I wore Templar armor.
I hear your lie's already been called out, so perhaps you've another set?
no subject
Of course. My first time being chased by Templars I convinced them that I would place the curse of Fen'Harel on them if they tried to take me in, I once had a dwarven partner with a peg leg, and I used to be romantically involved with an elven assassin.

There was a mishap when I was an apprentice with a rather benign ritual that caused me to speak backwards, to celebrate becoming a mage I made a spiral slide from the top of the White Spire to the front gates and everyone that used it was violently ill when they finished including several knight captains, I have never met my youngest sibling.

[As for herself.]
I'm mildly allergic to vitaar, I was the youngest member to join the Valo-Kas, and my first lover had a thing for lightning magic.

My partner and I "stole" an Orlesian judge's mistresses after we infiltrated his party, I was the youngest in my generation to earn his vallaslin, and I once shaved my head completely.

[Fine, fine, he’ll play. Only because at the moment he's hanging out on a tower hiding from a parrot... and also needing distractions from his thoughts in general.]
I've traveled to the moon, I've spoken in person with a goddess, and I'm secretly afraid of heights.

I was once marooned and had to eat a parrot to survive, I've single handedly slain a dragon, and I've gone up against six dwarves in a drinking competition and won. [He gives the elf a confident, lopsided smile.]

WOW HOW DID I MISS THIS
[But since Beleth answered his, surely she can get away with simply offering her own? Alright. She can do this. Two truths and one lie.]
I once had to fetch a mage who had crawled into a drain pipe and gotten himself stuck. The scar on my nose is from a bird, rather than a battle. And I - ah - don't enjoy pie.

The last one. How could you not enjoy pie?
