A question of great importance: who is the most interesting person in Riftwatch?

I am composing a list, which I very easily could make alone. But that is not amusing. So, the winner of the list will of course receive a prize. An extra point will be awarded to a Rifter, quite obviously. Points deducted for, hm, [totally at random here,] let us say.... Wardens. I have nothing against them. Once I admired them! Then I had my sixth birthday, and I grew bored with them.

All suggestions will be considered.

But to waste a sure thing on a less than ideal reward...that seems foolish. Is it not foolish in your opinion?

In other circumstances, perhaps. If there were a competitor who might offer a price higher, or if being an interesting member of our company was something that one might monetize. But alas, I think there is not.

And surely there is some zest in the chance of it. That simple joy that comes of taking a risk.

I am a very cautious man, but you have persuaded me.

But before we begin, are we only allowed one nomination?

[degenere]

Ah, bon.

I suppose you might make more than one nomination. I am looking for a very robust list.

[positioning]

Well, you are Valentine Nicasus Maxence Mérovée Olivier de Foncé, and refuse to be nominated?

I am the very same, and I do not so much refuse as believe it would be most unfair if I were to be nominated.

[positioning]

Then I must nominate you. I have heard so much of you. Is it true you are a menace and danger to society?

How I detest confidence. A coward's way out of any meaningful conversation.

In any case, I would answer that charge by saying that it is quite theatrical, and exaggerates some smaller qualities that I have. Though it would be good to put upon my calling cards, should I ever have the occasion to keep a stock of those once more.

Isn't this a meaningful conversation? Should I be hurt, as well as disappointed?

And I stand by my response on the theatricality of that assessment.
