A question of great importance: who is the most interesting person in Riftwatch?

I am composing a list, which I very easily could make alone. But that is not amusing. So, the winner of the list will of course receive a prize. An extra point will be awarded to a Rifter, quite obviously. Points deducted for, hm, [totally at random here,] let us say.... Wardens. I have nothing against them. Once I admired them! Then I had my sixth birthday, and I grew bored with them.

All suggestions will be considered.

What list?

The list of the most interesting person in Riftwatch, which I am composing.

How come you're composing the list of the most interesting people in Riftwatch>

To consult at a later date. Are you not interested in who is the most interesting among us? It is a good list to have, I think.

I dunno, man, it sounds sketchy like at best.

Ah, I understand. You are not interesting.

And you're pretentious. It be like that sometimes.

Quite the opposite. I can back each and every one of my talents. And I love a challenge, and a chance to take a chance. I would hope the same for you.

The having talents thing is the barrier. And anyway, that's cool and all, but you gotta admit it is kinda weird to take a poll to see who the most interesting person is. Like isn't that crazy subjective?

But that is the point precisely. We must work out who has the widest appeal of our number. What other way is there to do so besides a poll, that takes into account the subjectivity of each suggestion?

Iiiis this a social experiment thing? Do those even exist yet?

I cannot say without knowing what you mean. What is a social experiment?

A social experiment is like when somebody creates a situation that's normally dangerous to see how other people react to it. For like science or something.

Oh, well, this is not dangerous.

[DISMISSIVE. Please. But....]

Though that does sound an intriguing idea.

Oh sure, now my ideas are intriguing.

Do not take offense. Not every idea can be intriguing. I do very much like the sound of this particular experiment. I am very interested in the way that people react to things. I suppose that it would be very disingenuous to perform it for mere amusement.

It's a little bit amusement tho, huh.

Well, of course, I always find my research to be amusing, or else I would not bother with it at all. But one must take care to preserve some balance, arrange findings soberly, adapt a dour expression from time to time and speak sadly of deadlines and libraries, or a lack of seriousness is risked.

So it must only be a little amusement. Very small.
