Do not fret, Sestra. It is steady. Be resting.

We are on mission in Hunterhorns. Only two for stealth, but we are needing help for bringing our quarry back to the Kirkwall. Sarah was very brave and kept our captive from escaping, but her ankle is much broken, now, and she is very bad at steering the lizard horse.

[ And Sarah, pale and hunched over her injured ankle, sends a quick, betrayed look in Helena's direction when she hears her sister's announcement. ]

I'm no good at steering because my leg is broken.

Do not be making drama. Is only ankle, not whole leg.

( As she says that, though, she unstoppers the water flask, and hands it over to Sarah. The darkspawn has been secured, but she'll need to go check on it again shortly. Hiding out in a cave is a solution for now, but she will need to think of something to make all of this come together, and normally her plans don't need to factor in ravenous, red lyrium infected monsters. )

How is pain?

[ Sarah grabs the flask and drinks deeply, hoping it will distract her from the pain in her leg. It doesn't, and she hands the flask back to Helena after a few moments, frowning. ]

Not great. I'd kill for some vicodin right now.

Yes, part of leg, not whole leg.

( Thank you for agreeing with her very correct argument, Sarah )

I do not have vicodin. ( She chews on her lip for a moment, thinking through what supplies she has, what they could be used for. Painkillers as a concept were sort of strange and unusual for her, and she remained wary of anything medical, of anything that she might be given, after what the Johanssens had given her at the ranch.

Pulling her pack closer, Helena starts to rummage for something. ) You were very brave, Sestra.

When you say your quarry...what were you retrieving, exactly?

( Hmm. She trusts the musketeer, but she is not sure the Scouting master will be pleased with it being spoken all over networks. On the other hand, if others come to help, is better they are prepared. )

Darkspawns. Special ones.

[ Oh, for God's sake. ]

You're not serious.

[ Which he doesn't even mean, because of course she is, and of course they'd have a Darkspawn, and of course he's going to go and get his horse and go to meet them. ]

Why is it special? Can it speak?

I am very serious. Mission was going well, before Sarah got hurt, but I cannot think of way to keep her safe and bring back the darkspawn and be sneaky. Moving through this territory, it is difficult.

( Orlais, the Anderfels, and the shitty mountains sandwiched between them during a war. What a time, what a destination. )

This is part of mission. ( If only he were there to see the zipping across her mouth gesture. )

Did they send you out with any field first aid supplies? There's a potion they make with elfroot, it should help with the pain a little if you've got any. And did you splint it yet?

[Why can she not teleport to them.]

( The question is partly directed as Sarah, although Helena is Audibly Rummaging. ) And yes to splinting, this is done.

[ Oh, by the Lady... is what she wisely doesn't say aloud into her crystal. But she goes to private quickly. ]

I am sorry to hear of her injury. Is the darkspawn tightly restrained?

[ It's not that she doesn't trust the two, it's just that she's a natural worrier and she tends to get twitchy if she can't control something. ]

( She chews the side of her thumb for a second, thinking before she goes on. )

Is better for your project if the darkspawn is livings, yes?

I believe so. Cosima will have the most say in that, because of her microscope and what she wishes to observe. With Sarah's injury, however, I will understand if you wish to kill it to focus on taking care of her.

[ Which honestly might not be the best thing for the leader of a project to say. Surely the mission must come first. But she's also a healer, and has no problem abandoning plans for people. If one dead darkspawn somehow ruins everything and Corypheus wins, she'll take the fall for that. ]

I will see. Maybe with Hanzo and D'Artagnan, we can catch another.

( But it would really suck if one of them broke an ankle, too. )

( A quiet breath of relief, and without meaning to, without consciously choosing to, she hunches over a little and turns slightly away from Sarah. )

These mountains, they are around a forest called Tirashan. Parts of it go down to the Abyss Reach.

The Musketeer D'Artagnan, he is coming also.
