To anyone listening, Minrathous is under attack by Corypheus and his Venatori. Anyone wearing Inquisition colors is not safe, anyone who would oppose him is not safe. I beg those of us still in the city to make their way out, but help any you can without putting yourself in danger as well.
Under attack is putting it rather mildly? There's a Gods' Damned Corrupted Dragon lifting the Archon's Palace out of the ground! The guard are beating people to death in the streets!
Listen, all of you would do well to get to the docks or the catacombs, or leave the city on foot if you can stay hidden! Don't go dithering around looking for help; you won't find any here!
Not all of our people are heartless or Venatori. Avoid the guards and anything with the imperial crest, but if you are human or dwarf there should be those who will help disguise you if you need it. Particularly if you let the mages among you take the lead. Seek the alleys; they have the entrances to the catacombs. Some of us will linger to help those unfamiliar out, but we will not linger long. It is not safe. And watch the sky. The dragon is... fast.

What is Kirkwall supposed to do? How can we help?
[As for the dragon situation - he's not sure how they could even begin to deal with something like that.]

[There's a short beat.]
Perhaps some aid, if the Inquisition wishes.

[ The dryness of her tone spells out her skepticism for his words, rather than for her coworkers' ability to manage people in chaos. It's not like they haven't had the practice. ]

[ A quiet hiss of an Elven curse, then in a more appropriately leaderly voice: ]
This is dire news indeed. A dragon--do you mean Corypheus' corrupted dragon? [ The one that may or may not be an archdemon. Did the Grey Wardens ever puzzle that one out? ] This is--
What methods of escape are being employed? Is there anything that anyone in the Gallows can do to help?
no subject
[There's anger in his voice.]
It is chaos. There is no organized method of escape that I know as they descended on us from many directions, and he flew in. There are the catacombs that lead out, we have docks, but there is no organization.
As I mentioned to the Rifter, the members of the Inquisition could perhaps use ships, and my people may need assistance. They will suffer, with our capitol occupied. I do not know if the Inquisition cares.

Beleth seems to him also the person most in charge right now, so he feels it best to reach out to her.]

There are a lot wounded. There are some dead. We are trying to extract ourselves but ships may prove useful. I do not have other answers.
[A short beat and then he remembers another one of the questions.]

I assume someone is already outside of this Gods Forsaken place. If you want to know who in particular, that is a bit beyond us right now.

[What is she expecting. People huddled and in need of something against the shock or people who'll be bloodied needing potions thrust at them?]
Places to re-supply are few and far-between for us, Thor, you know Tevinter better than I do, I need to know before we set off.
[Being in Naval Presence at all help her out as she swears at her map and feels fucking useless.]

[There is a great deal of anger under those words, but he still thinks they need the Inquisition if they're going to beat Corypheus so he's not ready to unleash that anger yet. Luckily there's a safe target for it - the Venatori.]
And the corrupt guards, the Venatori, have not cared who gets caught in the crossfire as they attack members of the Inquisition, so we have injured citizens. We can likely heal some when we have had a chance to breathe, but our healer is already tired.
[And has already failed to heal the most important patient they've had.]
We will be able to deal with food supplies for a time if we can get these people to our lands outside the city, but we are not set up to host a larger group for any real length of time.

Audra, let my superiors in the Grey Wardens know that I won't be able to leave the city, not now. I cannot be certain that I won't be captured, so I will be destroying the crystal shortly. I'm sorry.

pretend this happened back with everything else;
I've been cut off from the route to the catacombs. Will make my way to the docks--if there's anyone in similar straits, I've a rendezvous with Ser Ashlock,
[he names an intersection that's still a fair piece from the docks themselves, but further from the Archon's palace and the dragon.
Don't anyone ask how possible that is when he barely knows the city. It's going to work because he says it is, because he believes it will, because it's that or capture or death./small>]

[There isn't condescension there, or it's not intended. The elf has a human helping him and is an ally for now. Perhaps the human can take some of the burden of this chaos off the shoulders of the elf. Through this at least, though, Thor will treat Myrobalan as he'd treat a mage of a smaller, lesser house.]
