[ thranduil's voice is tight, if still somehow pleasant: ]
I understand that there are a great number of questions and concerns at the moment regarding the Inquisition's proposed policy of phylacteries for Rifters.
If there are concerns that anyone would wish to make known through official channels, the Research Division has been appointed to handle the research of this new, proposed policy. [ very pointed stressing. ] My office is where it has always been, and any concerns should be turned into the box reserved for correspondence of that nature.
I would remind all Rifters that we are yet considered a single unit. [ remember the curfew? ] That poor behavior will affect all of us- indeed, anyone currently afflicted with a Shard. I would advise them that this is never as true as it is now, and that consequences for actions taken in the heat of the moment are the same as those made when rational.

[Y'ffre, let her-- let her get her voice under control. Catch it. Haul it back and stop it from threatening to crack out of her.]
If they come for me-- I have done this before. I have seen this before. This has happened before where the dragon devours his own tail. Do not let this place become the Thalmor stripped out of their gold and black for an eye with a sword thrust through it, do not, there is no walking back from it.

[ he trusts bronach. ]
How plentiful is the game this spring? Have they yet recovered from the winter?
private;
[Valenwood at her back, she didn't think to see it repeated where she might watch.]
Well enough if hunted carefully and every part used to make each kill last. The winter was hard, the beasts aren't so strong as I'm used to.
private;
If we needed to leave Kirkwall, all of us- how much food would we need to bring with us, and how much could be hunted? Account for thirty or so.
private;
[His question helps to cut her off from that before she can build up steam again. Any other day she might laugh but it catches, a strangled bitten-off cry instead that she has to cough up.]
They bring their own grains, all that rot to pad it out. Intestines for sausage casing. Liver, heart, kidneys, and the tongue are all edible more than that really , make the fat into tallow to cook with, boil the bones into broth for stew or soup. Everything else you can use to survive, the sinew, the hide, the antlers, and bones burn hotter than wood for a fire. You can use the brain but I don't think many have the stomach to watch it being done no matter how useful. It'd be the guts, eyes, the spine for whatever lurks that we can toss so even one deer should stretch if they have rations of grain and vegetables. [This would comfortably feed her for weeks given the ritual fasting but that'd go down as well as a Stormcloak at the Thalmor Embassy so she doesn't suggest it yet.] If you know anyone that knows the plants, berries and such? I don't eat them or use them but knowing what you can use that's there is easier. Some mushrooms to pad it out too, I pick those, only one made me spend the night out in the open seeing things.
[Let's be real: that might've happened anyway, maybe she just wants to blame the mushroom.]
private;
I think that you will perhaps need to play teacher soon. I will find someone who knows the plants.
private;
They'll have to learn fast. We'd want a healer too, to be safe. Alexandra who did the survey with me and that Templar, I trust her. [Or trusts her enough about her own issues that snarl up inside her own head sometimes, she doesn't know where she'll fall on this one.]
private;
[ another sort of supplies to start squirreling away. ]
Could caches of supplies be kept at your camp?
private;
[Good thing she has a camp or two stashed already.]
Put the perishables in barrels to be disguised or hidden, I have provisions put away in case something happened on a hunting trip.
private;
[ she's so competent. ]
I will speak with you if we have stores to move.
