idk my bff minor vandalism

FORM: Crystal
SENDER: Iorveth
RECIPIENT: All erry1
WHAT: Reacting to this, specifically the part about Rifter phylactaries.
WHEN: Right meow.
WHERE: Kirkwall, the Gallows announcement board
NOTES: Rudeness and vandalism. Open to crystal chatting and action!! Though he'll be storming off pretty fast after this.

[ For a long several moments, silence broadcasts over the crystal, Iorveth having just activated it after reading the announcement on negotiations results posted, lost for words. When they do come, it's like they're being spoken through a snarl. ]

You left to end the blood leashing.

Not push it off on the next lesser group.

[ there is a deafening thud that sounds before Iorveth's voice goes out, and anyone physically standing by the Gallows announcement board will have just witnessed Iorveth pull a dagger (with at least a foot worth of blade on it) free, and slam it through the notice and into the board, metal and splinters jutting out the opposite side, before walking away.

He mad. (And he'll come fix the board later, leave him alone) ]

Leaving the city alone would just end in your coming back, or dying. The shards get agonizing if they're not clumped together.

said distantly, as useful information to have, rather than real advice. if iorveth wants to give it a shot adalia certainly won't stop him — depending on how this ends up she might try to join him, in fact. but that's not why she wanted to talk to him in person, and it's not what has her shoulders so tense they're practically around her ears.

How far are you willing to go to make sure this threat doesn't become reality? If we can't talk them out of it, what would you do to force their hand?

that is an idea, actually, though how effective it would be is... debatable. with so many rifters being from so many advanced places with no survivalism skills, it may be just postponing the end, rather than avoiding it entirely. any attempt is better than none, at least.

for now, they can't think of that.

We need to be ready to sabotage their research efforts. If they can't figure out if it's possible, they'll have to drop the issue. I work in the Elven Artifacts offices, close to the Rifts and the Veil project office. I could try something myself, but I don't think they'll be stupid enough to keep all their notes in one place and I haven't been involved in anything requiring this level of espionage before.

you're great at that though right, you can help?

I don't know how to organize people, I don't know how to think like a tactician, but I've got magic and I can follow directions.
