Hello. Some of you already know me, but for those who don't, my name is Solas. I was the mage who first helped the Herald with the Anchor. I have been researching the remaining shards, and I ask that each of you that possess one come to see me - I will be able to soothe any related pain, and assess the condition of your shard, and of the anchor as a whole.

Would you be interested in sharing details of how to soothe the pain and assess conditions with some of the healers? Or even just this healer in particular.

Of course. [He can't help the smile in his voice.] Though I warn you that it might be more difficult to explain than I am actually capable of... It involves directly accessing the energies of the veil, and lessening the connection between the shard and the Fade -

It is something that I have learned through many long years, but I am not certain how easy it will be to communicate to someone else.

When I'm back in Skyhold perhaps I could observe you doing it while you explain, and what I sense may fill in some of the gaps. There are a lot of things more easily shown than described.

That is very true. It may indeed be much easier.

I take it you have gone with the rest of the Wardens. [As much as he likes Anders, he can't quite keep the displeasure out of his voice at the mention of them.]

[The displeasure is unexpected, and Anders is a little confused.]

Well, yes. It is sort of an occupational hazard, Wardens going off on Warden things. And them bringing a healer along because we're needed more often than not when Warden things go on.

Yes, I imagine they make good use of you. [Oops, that came out a bit bitter. He clears his throat.]

... Forgive me. It is - an old argument, and one I do not wish to stir. You, of them all, certainly do not deserve it.

[He doesn't, and it's clear in his voice. He's awful at bluffing. All the same, he's not angry. Just not sure how Wardens are an argument.]

I can only imagine. But my study, at least, has been thoroughly cleaned of any intruding - ah - sparkles.
