[There's some muted conversation occurring the the background as Loghain activates the crystal and considers his message; maybe he's inside a tavern or a mess hall, or close enough to one of those two locations that the conversation from within is impossible to get away from. He clears his throat.]

Greetings, Inquisition.

[Off to a good start, so far.]

My horse's tack is now rather worse for wear after innumerable weeks on the open road. Thus far I have had some difficulties [read: is being ignored by] connecting with Inquisition blacksmiths to take a look at her equipment. Looking for recommendations for decent blacksmiths in Kirkwall instead.

You can't just go and ask who would you recommend. That's how they rope you in. Avoid Hightown, s'all flourish, no substance. Anyone from the Merchant's Guild? Avoid them or you'll be in the debt the rest of your days.

[A pause.] I think it might be best if I don't have my horse seen to by a number of your fellows. [He won't draw undue attention to them by naming names.] A Kirkwall blacksmith will be fine.

Why is that best, or are you going to continue to be vague?

There are some by the docks, near where you'd have to get a boat to reach the Gallows. Not sure how good they are since I haven't needed to use them, but I haven't heard any complaints either.
