Right, gotta ask since it's been nigglin' me like a loose tooth for a bit now Inquisition, what d'you all know about dwarves? Rifters you don't get a free pass unless you fell out the skies yesterday, s'not like we're a rare sight but, y'know, 'specially since we've been here a while now and-- [there's a little edge to his voice, he coughs to clear that, can't sound like he gives a shit, just the damp and the smoke lingering yeah?] you've been with lots of dwarves. Lot of my family even!
Might get invited to Sunday dinner if you play your cards right but word to the wise, maybe don't? Politely decline. But not too polite yeah? [Don't know what you'll be served on a Darktown dinner table do you now?]

[Plenty of places 'accept' elves. Accept them doing their laundry. Scrubbing their floors. Looking after their kids. Mending and sewing. But it doesn't mean they accept them either when they'll go burn down an alienage that rises up.]
Think I'd remember if I ever met anyone that deluded. I'm from Kirkwall. Not Orzammar. Dwarves got rules for each other same as humans got rules for elves and Dalish got rules for alienage folks.

Legionnaires aside, what do you think others need to know about dwarves? Surfacers especially, given that the Inquisition as a hole is more likely to interact with them.

No one needed to talk back. Or ask questions.
Why would people ask?
(This is why Yngvi doesn't actually lead anything into anything.)]
Maybe that we don't begin and end with lyrium. Considering who helped make the Gallows habitable. And as buggered as nobility and everything is for humans, believe me, it only gets worse where you can't see it.

[Inessa sighs, prompting some canine grumbling from her end as Garahel leans against her.]
It's rather annoying when others assume every member of your race behaves a certain way or believe in the same things, isn't it? I've lost count of the times I've been lectured at about my own race, what we are and what we ought to be. Even when it's not active bigotry it's just...laziness.

[There's a demon of sloth yeah? Close enough.]
