This is Knight-Lieutenant Luwenna Coupe. I believe we have all spoken prior.
The Inquisition is to define and strengthen diplomatic relations with the Chantry; I will be assisting in the initial organization of our efforts. You have either volunteered, or were recommended for the role.
I would like to take this opportunity to underscore the earthly importance of our alliances. The Chantry is foremost a body of people. Whether soldier or civilian, human or elf,
[ and like, those other guys ]
We represent the faith. We carry a common legacy. We are each as much a part of that as the late Divine, and I expect that we shall conduct ourselves accordingly.
[ ask urself: What Would Justinia Do ]
This endeavor is not one which any of us might accomplish alone. If you've initiatives or ideas you would see furthered, now is the time to begin discussion. Perhaps short introductions would also be prudent. I am told that such activities — ah — break the ice, as it were.
I will see to establishing us a workspace. Should you have reasonable preferences upon the matter: Speak now or forever hold your peace.
Thank you. I — [ a pause, to consider the words. when they come, there’s a touch of the unrehearsed about them. some small hint of... something. ] — Am heartened, for your presence.
That is all.
[[ OOC - aaaaay before we work out project focuses, let’s figure out if there’s anything specific people want to do! these won't be our only projects, so if you don't have anything in mind, that's totally chill. i’ll stick up an OOC post for everyone after. ]]

[ Meet your new teammate. ]
I'm super pumped to get a chance to help build bridges with other people of the faith and work to help the Chantry! I'm sure we're all gonna do a great job and that the Maker will be watching us and all proud and stuff, 'cause we're doing his work, yeah?
[ At least there will be no lack of enthusiasm. ]
I did have an idea! [ She sounds proud of herself. ] The memorial garden where the Chantry used to be--I visited it the other day, but they ran out of resources at one point, and it's been like halfway finished since then. And I was thinking, well, didn't the Inquisition decide to melt down all of that bronze and use the money selling it to help Kirkwall? What if we used some of it to help get the memorial garden finished?
I think that it'll really help leave a good impression on Kirkwall and on the Chantry as a whole. And it could help people have closure where there wasn't any before.

I second the motion to focus on finishing the garden. It is as much a symbol to the people of Kirkwall as it is to those of the faith as a whole. And what happens deserves to be remembered in as peaceful a manner as possible.

Thank you, Warden Daesun, Seeker Reed.
The idea is a fine one — perhaps some of the labour might be drawn from our ranks, and from any volunteers within the city.
[ not the most economical of their time, and less than helpful for local artisans. still, it looks better than hiring every hand. especially when they're spending the viscount's future funds. ]

[ 'we could just call it a cookout' is. not something she should say aloud. ]
It would behoove us to inquire after the individual involved. Their motives, any known associates — it may be of use in preventing further tragedy, and if they've family, outreach would unlikely go amiss.
[ it could very likely go amiss. but they won't know until they've a better picture of things. ]
Would you be interested in organizing the investigation?
[ if daesun doesn't precisely seem to be filled with gravitas, at least she thought of the human element. ]

[ She sounds more surprised than anything. You want her? To ORGANIZE something?? Aren't you the leader Wren, gosh. But she gets over herself after a moment, clearing her throat. ]
Yes! I am a senior Warden, after all. I can handle that. [ A senior Warden for all of a month. ] Just give me the list of names once you have them, and I'll investigate the shit outta all of them.
