We're all right. Herian, Sina and I. I don't know who--what the Inquisition knows about what happened, but we were having negotiations with Clan Grymusseth and they took us. It was a trap all along.

We're back at the Inquisition camp being tended to. Their camp is on fire.

Their disappearance lasted for hours after a negotiation began, so the local Inquisition camp began rescue efforts before they reappeared. It's a long story and I'm in a lot of pain.

Basically...Dalish clan was acting out. Killed some people. Inquisition offered to negotiate for custody of the perpetrators. We were sent in, they captured us instead and we've escaped now.

[She sighed, softly, not wanting her worry to be too obvious about the baby.]

[Ooh, Pel hadn't thought of that. That could be a problem.]

I'll reckon they wouldn't if you threw in some spinach. Or dandelion greens. Maybe some potatoes. But the greens and cherries are more important. And maybe some minced beef. I don't think they'd want it then.

[A beat as she takes a moment to stop being ruled by primal instincts.]

Or. Yes, yes my friends would like some.

[How easily it comes to her to call Herian a friend. After what they've been through.]

So you would like for me to make black cherry tarts, some sort of spinach and greens pie, with potatoes, and perhaps minced beef on the side? I could probably make one with the spinach, greens, potatoes and meat ... need something to put it all together, though. Eggs? Eggs.
