I was thinking, how do you feel about coming up with more ways to relax? I know we have the tavern, which everyone enjoys to the fullest, and the hot spring which has so many uses, but Sam - the blacksmith one - [Not to be confused with the Hobbit one] and I were talking and he brought up that I used to give massages and how sometimes people need more ways to relax. We're all under a lot of stress and deserve time to unwind.

What I'm suggesting is a sort of... [he searches for the word] spa? Nothing like what you'll find in Val Royeaux, of course, we don't have the space or the resources for that, but I know how to make oils and things that help keep your skin healthy and we could use the hot springs and help one another by tending to each other...

Let me know if this sounds silly. Sam and I tend to come up with a lot of silly ideas when we're together.

And I am working on getting some! Korrin says she has a recipe that i can use to make some more as well.

You're The Iron Bull, aren't you? Would you have any other concerns that a spa should be able to handle? I wouldn't want it to be human and elf centric when we have such diversity here.

Yup. That'd be me. Been sparing with the stuff we got sent from Orlais but I could really use some more. Starting to run a little thin.

Hm. Not really sure. Outside of ritualistic stuff, we don't really invest a lot of attention in oils and stuff like that. Pretty sure there are some varieties of incense that are suppose to invoke a sense of 'inner peace' when you burn them. Your other clientele might find it helpful.

When I make the balm I'll send some your way. The incense is a good idea too, though it might be harder to track down.

Yeah, it's a pain in the ass to make, and you don't see it much outside of what use the Chantry has for it, but it's worthwhile. Long as you pick the right scents.

Do you know which scents work best for 'inner peace'?

Hm. Lavender works pretty well. Nice and light. You get someone who doesn't want anything too flowery? Go with frankincense.

I like frankincense personally, so I'll stock up as much as I can of both.

What about you? Are you a fan of flowers?

That's like asking if you're a fan of weapons. You've got a lot of variety there, you know.

[He makes an amused sound at that, it seems like 'oh you have a point there'] What about daisies then?

That's a definite 'no'. Daisies smell terrible. Especially with a sense of smell as strong as mine.

That narrows it down to 'nice smelling flowers' which is also a large category.

Is sense of smell usually strong for your people or are you unique?

Pretty strong even for us, yeah. Could tell these Orlesian sisters apart once by the perfume they'd worn to a party the night before. Triplets, at that.
