Riftwatch, there is a demon in the Gallows masquerading as Benedict Artemaeus. He has been cornered in the fifth floor workroom. Assistance would be appreciated.

[ Yseult almost always sounds brisk on the crystals; today her speech is quicker and more clipped than ever. ]

Until we know more and can confirm there are no other imposters among the company, be on your guard. Report any unusual activity immediately.

Ask casually. [ the background of her message is quiet now, and she sounds more focused ] Work it into conversation, try not to give away the significance.

If she can't answer, we may want to see if it can be drawn out. The thing impersonating Benedict was an envy demon--what did this Gela seem to envy you?

... I'm not sure. [ Now she's doubting herself. ] She did get weird about me and Ellie out of nowhere, accused us of being attention-seeking. Maybe that?

Seeking attention to your relationship? Friendships, work?

Our relationship, yeah. It came out of nowhere. She told me that a lot of people here feel that way, and she wanted me to know.

And, I mean, it's not like we hide it, but I know we're not that bad.
