Does anyone here have recurring dreams? And if so, what?

I have a dream rather often that I need to recite the Chant but it's a section I've never actually heard of before. And also I'm naked.

Aren't dreams supposed to be all about metaphor and stuff? Like you dream that you're making a cake but you don't have any flour, so you go to ask your neighbor, but your neighbor's something crazy, like... I dunno. A bear.

And then the bear's like, "you don't even know how to make a cake" and somehow you're not like "fuck you, you're a bear-"

Of course! Nudity isn't nudity if it's not in front of other people. Without other people around, it's just...naturalism.

And here I thought it was the state of being naked. Kind of a common theme in dreams though and it's embarrassing if you're not practiced in the way of nudism.

Embarrassed about anything?

I've had that one. And the scariest Chantry Sister is there, watching.

Yes! And she's both judgmental and, somehow, alluring.

It is not. It's terrible. It's terrible, because there's an entire section of the Chant I might sing, but I don't know it, so people are denied my magnificent voice.

Dream sometimes that a dragon made of soap bubbles is chasing me and then I dream I wake up and the dragon made of soap is there in my bed and I run away and then I actually wake up

Least think so. [Worried.] Maybe we're dreaming now.

I mean - that is a good point. You might just be dreaming that I'm making this announcement.

I used to get the one about my teeth falling out. Pretty gnarly, to be honest. Apparently that one's common, or at least it was where I come from. No idea if anyone's doing dream surveys, apart from this one, on Thedas.

Oh, yes! I've dreamed about my teeth falling out, too.

I'm late to some kind of meeting or trying to get somewhere in a place I should know like the back of my hand, but I can never quite get there. Too many turns, too many hallways, too many stairs, and I keep getting turned around even though I know I know where I am.

Why is it anxiety dreams tend to be the recurring ones? It's never pleasant ones. At least, not that anyone tends to remember.

I know some people have dreams of flying that they find pleasant. The thought fills me with terror, of course, but some people are perverse.

That or I'm back in training, but, y'know, now. Surrounded by young whelps who're all better than I am at everything.
