Because I'm not having any luck with this in solo practice; would anybody who uses magic regularly in combat be open for sparring? If magic-users have any... I dunno, hot tips or suggestions or descriptions of how they typically use magic in battle that'd be really helpful too.

There's Sylvan, the predecessor to Elvish in my home world, and Abyssal. [He does not say anything further about the latter because this is a public conversation and there are Reasons.] I have some other notes in another language as well, but it's odd. I recognize the language but I don't remember its name at all.

I think I wrote it? [A mystery indeed.] I don't remember, but usually other people don't write in a wizard's spellbook where I'm from.
