I've got a small quest. Need a few people to go with me to check out a broken 'vane' machine at the Wounded Coast. No experience necessary, but we don't know why the machine is broken. Demons? Monsters? Rabid animals? Somethin' else? Hard to say, 'til we get there.

I'm Erik, by the way, in case you don't know me. Which happens. Lotsa people comin' and goin'.

I'm not very mechanically inclined, but if you aren't already full up, I wouldn't mind coming along. I've been informed that holding out for city-based missions only is impractical.

I am firmly of the opinion that every quest needs a healer, honestly. Wanna come just to hang out potentially and watch me try to fix a machine? Maybe figure out why it's broken and what or who broke it and why? Potentially deal with that, as the case may be?

It's bound to be interestin' and I promise I'll do my level best to keep you from gettin' hurt.

Well, if you're promising I won't get hurt. [ She scoffs a little laugh. ] I'd be delighted to be part. What, exactly, are you hoping to repair? The way it works, or the entire thing? Specifics are important.

The way it works, most likely. Depends on what's been damaged. If it's too complicated to be repaired in-field, it'll have to be dismantled I guess.

[indissection]

If not dismantled then exploded? [ Sidony scoffs a little noise, almost a laugh. ] I'll be more than willing to stitch you, should that be the case.

A good point, but hopefully not; we'll see what's up when we get there.
