In the meantime, I am told I have something of a choice for sleeping quarters, but as a new arrival, I'm choosing somewhat blind. Are there advantages and disadvantages, or am I safe to choose at random?

As the saying goes, thin walls make close neighbors. If you are considering the towers which give host to single rooms for single occupants, you've at least the freedom to move whenever the fancy strikes you.

Yes, I suppose that follows. Perhaps it was a foolish question, I'm just not used to having such a wide range of choices.

My understanding was that the top floors were not for personal use, but I admit I may have been misinformed.

Yes, that's so. I left the organization a few years back, but they have no way to make you turn in your skills with the insignia.

The best room is in the Templar tower. There is a blue mark on the door, very big, very easy to be seen. This is the room that you should take.

I think so, yes. I'm currently looking at rooms on the fourth floor of the staffed tower and one of them is bound to suit. Or if it's easier to meet you elsewhere, it is as you like.

I am not very particular, myself. I mainly wanted to know if there are differences, and perhaps know if there are any particular pitfalls. If the rooms are truly more or less interchangeable, I am sure I will be fine in any of them.
