Hey, everybody. About the pit-fighting matches we usually have… let's call it a draw this month. Considering what we all just went through… could be bad taste.

But I do understand it's the holiday season, so let's hold a contest instead. Drinking contest. The way we do it in the- where I'm from. Drink a pint at the signal, walk a straight line, keep going until you're the only one who hasn't fallen, puked, or walked off the line. Sounds good? We're gonna be having it in the Main Hall in a week. Lemme know if you're interested.

[ Byerly’s voice is rather dry. ]

First off, I really wanna congratulate everybody for doing their part in Nevarra. You were all fucking fantastic, and you should be proud of yourselves. Our division is nothing to sneeze at, and you all more than proved that.

Which is why I want our division to grow. Diplomacy has a missing position open, and I can think of heaps of people who'd be excellent at it. Trademaster. You negotiate on behalf of Riftwatch to get the best prices, the best deals, everything so we come out on top with a better budget and a better relationship with our suppliers. I want volunteers.
