Riftwatch then-- I'd wonder if you'd do me the great honour or the courtesy or however you deem fit to judge it, that's not for me to decide to tell me about the most interesting creatures you've come across in your travels.
Not your fellows. They're hardly interesting, not to me at any rate.
And it doesn't have to be with Riftwatch though before and after the appearance of the rifts helps greatly! Their behaviours, appearance, anything you'd care to share would be tremendously appreciated. Also if it was around the time of the last Blight would help too or if they were close to Darkspawn or the Deep Roads, I mean if you give me an accurate enough date and place I can narrow that down but I'm interested in your tellings of it!
Oh and I'm Octavian Nestor Sokolov, but do please just call me Tavin I'll be-- well I'll probably be in the library if you've anything that's better in person. Sketches, samples, oh or any injuries inflicted that sort of thing, some of those are best seen rather than heard.

For example, there's a very nice pair of Orlesian Silvers bein kepts by a registered reputables breeder right heres in this very city. Beautiful lusters and a fine downys coat, pale silvers. That's from where they gets the name, you know. [He is saying all of this in a calm, cheerful manner. Barty fully expects you to find it fascinating.] But what's really interestings is thats they're both carryings a hidden line for grey eyes. Now there's a nuglet that'll wins prizes for you, a grey-eyed Orlesian Silver! It's no wonders they sells for so much.
[There is a soft, longing sigh. He is completely serious about this.]
Oh, I'd love to haves me ones of those. But of course, Riftwatch ain'ts the place for highs-class pets nor shows-nugs. Don't knows how I'd show 'em anyhows, beings the schedules and the travels expenses, and sos much to do elsewise with alls the works to do. But a man cans dream, eh?

[Usually Tavin's soft-spoken because when you're dealing with wild animals in the middle of nowhere and twitchy hirelings who question why they're with you, that's the best tone to aim for. But breeders-- that tends to rankle. Especially for his work.]
You'd be better sticking to a wild nug were you to have one, they're far more robust than the things that come out of Orlais. I've always found the idea of showing an animal cruel, there's much more to it than looks but that's ever been Orlais and whatever doesn't fit for the standard is their next set of gloves and boots if it fits the season's fashions.
[He'd need to ask Miri if that's the trend still, maybe it's back to fabrics again.]

First yous was implying that an interest in nugs was somethings on the orders of a parochials type person, and I finds that considerables uneducated of you. Now You'res claimings that anyone who breeds nugs to become at all specialized or mentions geographical varieties as a point of conversations, it's as foolish as pretending its some kind of shame if a livestock animal gets used for something other than a house-pet.
[He doesn't think much of you, sir.]
Now, see here, mister. Don't asks me about strange sights and interesting traveling tidsbits if all yous wants to hear abouts is the common wild-type nugs of the world.
Howsabouts you pick you a side and sticks to it, hm?
