Greetings, Inquisition. It is truly a pleasure to be welcomed amongst your ranks, even in these strange times.
[ The voice is soft, formal, a touch accented - certainly not Ferelden by any stretch. Well educated, probably, at least from the intonation. ]
My name is Sidony Venaras, lately of Nevarra, and I have come to fill any gaps that you might have in your medical needs. [ And, quickly - ] Yes, I am well aware that there are magical means of healing, but magic cannot cure everything. A doctor can often be required. It wouldn't do to forget that.
[ She doesn't necessarily have anything against mages, exactly, but it might not seem that way. ]
If anyone can inform me of any healers or doctors I might confer with then I would appreciate it. You have my thanks in advance, and I appreciate the support should it be given.

A reliance on magic would not be safe. But rarely do I think it's relied on. We've only just been out of the Circles a couple of years, and fear is still the strongest emotion when it comes to mages.
I do not disagree that there is need for non-magical study, and those who practice it. I have even begun working on my knowledge of those studies. But promotion of magical healing could protect my people when the war is over and I need to think about that. We need to be seen as useful, else...
[He figures the 'else' should be obvious.]

[ If she can, but. If not then she still has her medicine. ]
I do not have magic. I cannot comment on its uses nor how best to treat it once this war is over. I would not wish to overburden myself with something that is not my place, Ser.

[But she's still talking with him, at least. That's nice. Sometimes they stop talking once they know, hence his lack of introduction before.]
And I'd argue that it's everyone's place, really. If those who are not mages do not stand up with us, we'll lose our fight for freedom. We are outnumbered, and we are feared. Let me know when you're heading to the Infirmary and I'll clear the table and introduce you to the kitten, if you'd like.

[ The name does mean something, but she's hardly much in the way of a celebrator of Chantry teachings. Her frustration with them might not lead to what had happened with Anders, but she can understand the irritated sentiment. ]
I will not take much space, I assure you. I have my own books with me which I will keep in my room. I intend to be an asset, not a hinderance.

[It's not his name, but he's rather without hope of finding out what is so it works.]
And I'm not worried about you taking up too much space. You can keep your books in your room as you'd like, I've a few in mine, but it can be helpful to have texts with you as well, and a place for notes, and tea, and the like. We'd one in our number who liked to get various honeys from places and kept them on her desk. I was using two because I've been working on a research matter and keeping things separate, but I've room elsewhere for that.

[ She's respectful enough to accept what people tell her, at least as long as it doesn't go against what she wants. ]
I will take some, but there are others that I would prefer to keep safer, if you please. [ Her voice is soft, but sure. They're precious books, the kinds she brought from home, stolen away from the libraries. ] I do not drink much tea, but I appreciate the kindness.

I'll be the blond man in blue and silver robes, if you care to say hello when you come down.

Better to focus on what she can do. ] I will be down within a few days, I should think. As soon as I am settled and my things are stored safely.
