So, there's this dog that started following me about. I guess it's mine now or - something. Anyway. Has anyone got ideas for a name?

Yeah, only I don't expect my dog's gonna support repressive monarchies, you know. Which is the only thing I have any desire to scold people over.

And belts and hats and books and anything they haven't been taught not to eat. Really mind the leather especially though. I think they like the smell.

They'll also try to get underfoot when it's inconvenient, so you'll want to make sure she knows to stay put when you're working. But a mabari probably won't have the same kind of trouble with that. --And don't let her eat dead things or her breath will knock you out.

They're good to have in winter though. Better than a hot water skin or a warmed rock in the bed.

And - I don't know. I've spent a lot of time getting up to date on politics, you know, and history, as best I can. And I've learned some about the Fade, and Andrastism. The Chantry, and Corypheus, which meant reading about Tevinter, too - and I went there, too, to learn about it firsthand. Erm -

You'll want to try the Hightown markets for it. The vendors change, of course, but better there than anywhere else. Look for dwarves; they're more likely to have it... for baking.

It must depend on which Orlesian you're talking to. But good food and wine is common and I think most like cleverness as that's how the Game gets played. Hunting. Books? I'm partial to lamb for eating, myself. The same as everyone else, only sure of it.

How about - an Orlesian woman who wants to seem silly? Would it be insulting to get her a book, if part of playing the Game for her was seeming like she didn't engage in intellectual pursuits?
