Good morning, Inquisition. The Division Heads would like to congratulate you on your performance and conduct at the Tourney. You all did admirably, and your hard work is much appreciated.

The previous curfew on rifters has been lifted, however, we would remind all those who reside in the Gallows that the last boat to the Gallows depart at midnight, and the next not until 6am the next day.

If you are unable to make the boat and are not on an assignment, we request that you check-in with your respective Division Head via the crystals, so that we know you are not in danger. Obviously this not apply to those who reside outside the Gallows on a permanent basis.

For those unfamiliar; Provost Thranduil heads Research, Scoutmaster Ashara heads Scouting, Commander Coupe heads Forces, and I am Herian Amsel, recently made head of Diplomacy.

I'm sure you will! Can I ask what your first focus will be? I'm sure there's no shortage of work for diplomats at the moment.

No, we face no lack of challenges. Certainly a pressing concern is unifying the Inquisition, though I feel that is a matter for all divisions, and not a task I can claim for Diplomacy alone. I would... like to see the Inquisition drawing together so that we might better face our adversary in Corypheus, rather than setting our teeth at one another's throats.

With that said, my focus to this point had been on the Chantry Relations project, and I think bettering our relationship with the Chantry would help reduce conflict and opposition that we face from them. For the moment both of the projects under Diplomacy are without specific leadership, so I would like to look to ensuring each of them are on course. I am still learning of all the nuances and work that had already been begun, and am not eager to dive in and make grand statements before more fully understanding the present situation.

And yet— with all that said, we cannot ignore the matter of the Orlesian invasion by the Anderfels. There is much to look to.

I'm settling in as Christine's assistant in the Red Lyrium project. There's a backlog of paperwork thanks to the tourney, but I suspect that isn't unique to my area. I hope your own transition will be smooth.

I am sure the project will flourish with both of your efforts turned to it. There is much to be learned, still - I am sure she is grateful for your aid and insight.

I must... admit I was surprised by the appointment. Less so by the paperwork accompanying.

I can certainly look to it, if you tell me your name. I do know, however, if you have not joined a division then you would not have been assigned to one. In that case I imagine you could report to any one of us.

Well met, Zhensen. Have you a wish to join one of the divisions? It allows opportunities to work in areas best suited to your skills and interests, if you wish to work with the Inquisition, though it is not required.

You have a good heart, a keen mind, you've shown wisdom and you conduct yourself with compassion and honour. Even when there are times I think you allow yourself some slack, the standards you hold yourself to are to be admired. We need that now, more than ever.

[The upcoming negotiations are never far from her mind; knowing that there's another advisor there who knows the Chantry as well as Herian? It's not a comfort (there aren't comforts when this is your life being decided upon) but as good as.]

Does this mean the project we spoke of before will still be ongoing, but perhaps in a more official capacity once things have died down? You'll have the resources to do it, more people to help.
