I hope we are all somewhat recovered from the Tournament. We should all be very pleased with our efforts. The very warm farewell before the matter of the Anders incursion was a result of your hard work-- all of you.
And now we find ourselves returned to Kirkwall. I begged patience from many of you, and I thank you for it. Skyhold wishes for us to come and speak with a delegation from the Chantry and the Templars much as the mages did. I will be attending, as will Obi-Wan Kenobi and Araceli Bonaventura. Both are known well to the leadership of Skyhold and very familiar with Thedas itself.
However, we need a fourth for our party, and this I leave to you. Any Rifter is eligible for nomination. I would suggest that you choose carefully. Ideally, our fourth would be familiar with Thedas and settled into the Inquisition, as well as accustomed to dealing with pressure with grace.
There will be a box outside my office with slips for nominations nearby. Please record your name and the name of your nominee below it. I would appreciate responses turned in with all haste.

That's unlikely. [A breath before she adds on:] I've never been an easy person to like and supporting someone means you have to like 'em at least a little. I've always been more worried about keeping people safe than my sparkling personality.
[She uses that word with a bit of amusement. Newt and she had discussed sparkling personalities a while ago.] I'm not fool enough to pretend I'm some diplomat in the making.
Besides I don't fit the criteria you'd prefer; I only arrived in the last batch of rifters. I've learned a fair bit and keep an open mind, but I'd doubt you'd want my opinion matters there.

[ a wide variety of personalities certainly will keep things interesting. as long as they all have the same goal and work for it together, what is it to him that they go about it in different, though united, ways? ]
And what is your opinion? If you are aware of the ways in which it would offend, then you can avoid the thorniest of them, or use them to your advantage.

[Besides keeping people safe. She still fully believes she's no diplomat either, though her heart's in the right place. She's always had potential but she never seems to get it right--
--She'd hate to see what happened if she messed up there. Wanting to hear it for herself was one thing, though.
She was quite a moment before finding the words she wants:]
I don't think it's right to dismiss their worries entirely. That said I don't think what they're wanting to do is to benefit the rifters. Everything I've heard says it's more about control which is just what's gonna make things worse. On our side and theirs. Rifters will only get more upset if it's forced, making them appear as dangerous as natives believe. Just the same it'll make us more difficult to act as a unit-- The Inquistion, I mean.
If the means was being able to find someone and simply that, then I'd imagine we can all work together to find a method. Someone mentioned that figurin' out how to use the crystals could open something like that.
There's a lot to consider on the matter, I suppose. If they were created would rules be established? Safety? Where they'd be held? Those would be the chief concerns of most if the attempts to find a way around it would fail.
As much as I hate the idea of people fearing us because we exist it's not like it wouldn't be the same anywhere else. But there's gotta be a fit that works for everyone without denying the freedoms left or giving more control. [She shrugs, though of course, he couldn't see it.] But I wouldn't know where to begin to express that without sounding dismissive.
