[He flinches and clings suddenly.]

(He gasps and blinks, startled.) Kano -

I'm not leaving. (His hands shake as he rubs over Maglor's back.)

[Nope, clinging tighter and burying his face against his brother's chest, muffling his voice.]

Kano, give me some credit. I did learn from that horrible decision. (He sighs and nuzzles Maglor's temple.)

[He takes in a deep breath then slowly lets it out in a sigh, sagging against his brother.]

...I know, Nelyo...I just...forget sometimes that you are actually here...

(He senses the fatigue and he is tempted to simply pick up his brother and carry him back to his room.)

I will pinch you daily to remind you. (He hesitates.) Can you rest?

[Emotional fatigue, really. The offer startles a little laugh and Maglor manages to unclench his fingers.]

That would help...And...Elros makes sure I do. [By tackling and sitting on him until he gives in.]

How does he manage that? (He feels a little guilty for having other sleeping arrangements.) I did not know he could be a nurse!

[He snuggles, smiling against his brother's neck. He always loves hearing Maedhros laugh, even if it's at his expense.]

(It feels good to laugh genuinely and it comes entirely from love. He picks up Maglor a little as he spins them around.)

I feel like your roles are reversed!

[Maglor doesn't mind when this brother picks him up and spins them around! Never has, never will.]

Mm, they are! I do not mind, and it seems to make him happy. [And worried a bit, maybe?]

(Maedhros likes spinning his adorable brother around, so it's best if he doesn't mind. He kisses his cheek as he sets him back on his feet.)

He does, doesn't he? (He moves to a bench and sits down, holding out his hand for Maglor to join him.) I love being near him again.

[Cue immediate little brother sitting down and tucking himself right back against you, Maedhros.]

(Good. Maedhros wraps an arm around him and leans back comfortably. His heart has slowed to a comfortable pace, but he still feels...hot. Restless.)

[He snuggles close with a soft hum.]

(He holds onto Maglor's hand, frowning.)
