I'm not sure who is aware of this, but both Sam and Kirk have their namedays coming up. Kirk's is this week, and Sam's is in the coming weeks.

I would like to have a party to celebrate the both of them together and I'd love it if we could surprise them with it?

This means I'll be trusting each of you to keep this quiet until we get to stun them with our thoughtfulness. Gifts aren't required but I might need help tracking down some supplies? [Then, to himself] Maybe I'll just bug Adasse for that, and I'm sure Christine will want to help too...

This would just be a social event where you come and spend time celebrating.

And you called it a 'life day?' That one is new. Most Rifters I've spoken with call it a 'birthday.'

I've heard that term a few times, too. Life day is the most common in the part of the galaxy I'm from.

We would just have to be careful not to take too much. I don't want to anger the neighbors.
