I have a need of certain items as well as assistance with something...something you can speak to me privately about, I don't know how to stop everyone hearing things on this yet. I'm willing to trade services of my own or goods for these; I'm a talented smith of many years from hide and leather through any metals, glass, bone or tusk - the last two are best for bows, we're known for making the finest bows you'd ever have a hand on. I've hunted since childhood so if it's meat for your own larder or a pelt to do what you will with or whatever other parts, I can supply those.

The assistance would need to be somewhere not the city. Somewhere private. Quiet. There's no danger to you, I only wish to see how greatly arriving through a rift may have changed me. The second is where I might come by a still. [And there's a pause, verging on awkward. She knows.] For milk. And somewhere the still might be put to not offend or be disturbed.

... A dragon that comes from the grave and ours are from eggs and yet your dragons are meaner than ours? Aren't all dragons - I dunno. Big lizards? So they are just lizards and ... not.

Your dragons are mortal, they have a death, a dying in them. They breed and grow. Ours are the children of time itself who awoke from the burial mounds, who once held humanity in service to them until a gift that was theirs was taught to be their undoing. If you can slay a dragon same as an overgrown beast why are yours alive? They were all dead. All gone. Legends. I watched the life given back to one by their leader as he spoke in a voice that could set sky aflame.

Time is split in three, the dragon devours his own tail, and an arrow might be the hand striking the hour of his death upon the clock.

So, what, they were ... never born at all? How did they come to be in the first place? They were undead dragons to begin with, yeah?

Akatosh is the dragon god of time and they are the children of Akatosh, each with a soul lasting beyond the body. They are as they ever were. They're part of time. Akatosh is time, Alduin the firstborn they all followed once, who had mortals trembling or reaching up in worship was time laid out in a line, a time that begins and ends. There's no space to breed as a lesser thing does. They came from a god. A true god.

So .... they're ... dragons made of ... time. From a God. Of Time.

You know, I don't think you should be scoffing about dragons coming from eggs when your dragon is an abstract concept.
