I have a need of certain items as well as assistance with something...something you can speak to me privately about, I don't know how to stop everyone hearing things on this yet. I'm willing to trade services of my own or goods for these; I'm a talented smith of many years from hide and leather through any metals, glass, bone or tusk - the last two are best for bows, we're known for making the finest bows you'd ever have a hand on. I've hunted since childhood so if it's meat for your own larder or a pelt to do what you will with or whatever other parts, I can supply those.

The assistance would need to be somewhere not the city. Somewhere private. Quiet. There's no danger to you, I only wish to see how greatly arriving through a rift may have changed me. The second is where I might come by a still. [And there's a pause, verging on awkward. She knows.] For milk. And somewhere the still might be put to not offend or be disturbed.

If it's gone it's gone, still got the bow I had my whole life but it'd be better to know now, not later. Many others? Not that it matters, we're all from different places, who knows if it'd apply.

Two I have spoken with. No doubt, there have been more. Abilities strange and alarming: A boy to warp minds. A woman to kill with a punch. You've my confidence, for so long as the Inquisition has your loyalty.

When the civil war hit where I was even as the dragons filled the skies, loyalty to most things was only a word too, right to the top. Easy to say down on the knees, not to so easy to keep. Same as heads.

But no other people with anchors go places. So I'm here. What does it buy me to go stabbing you in the back?

A cell and a stump, I imagine. The Venatori interest in shardbearers is perilously specific. [ it seldom hurts to be clear upon hypotheticals ] But nerves do not always make for rational actors.

The view from the chopping block isn't one I'm keen on seeing again. The Venatori sound like a few different things I know if you boiled them in a pot together, the worst came to my home and disappeared people in the night. You'd hope for death for them.
