[ Christine very rarely has reason to use the crystals to talk to the Inquisition as a whole. Usually she just talks to people one on one. But this time she decides to reach out. ]

It came to my attention while we were in port at Llomerryn that people are selling fragments of red lyrium. If you happen to see anyone out in the world doing so, I ask that you question them as to their supplier so we may track who is doing this and stop them.

[ If they can. It seems very likely that some have purchased these fragments as oddities and are feeling its effects even now. ]

Other than that bit of business, I happen to find myself in the Frostbacks at an Avvar hold called Falcon-Reach and they are willing to sell me goods that are not food-related. They must save all their food for winter. Would anyone wish for me to bring them anything? Within a reasonable price range, that is. You may pay me back for it in coin or errands.

[ There is an amused tone to her voice, but she's quite serious. One should never turn down the opportunity to make people do errands for you to lighten your workload. ]

On my way back to Kirkwall I will also be stopping in Jader should anyone want supplies from there.

I suppose I would be interested in what alchemy and rune ingredients they have available. Anything they have that we cannot easily get ourselves would be of interest.

I will be sure to ask them. They are a very straightforward people, so I can see them being open about what they use.

Indeed. I am glad to hear that the red lyrium has stayed away from the holds. This place is untouched by our war against Corypheus.

Ah, now you have me nostalgic. I've visited that hold before, found it pretty welcoming.

Some furs would be welcome. Maybe I'd need them less in Kirkwall than in the Frostbacks, but I'd like them all the same.

Those I believe I can obtain. It seems they are well prepared for winter with furs. They have already draped numerous ones on me, saying I look like a newborn goat for all my shaking.

The cold is hard on lowlanders; seems like you have to be raised in it, to completely adapt. But a good set of furs does help, I know. And I've got a nuglet who might want something warm.

[Angling the crystal so that the squeaking of something tiny can be heard.]

I do not mind. I enjoy life up here, and I will happily wear all the furs they often me.

[ She gives a soft laugh. ]

I take it you took advantage of Aleron's generous offer? I will see if I can find it a rabbit fur.

[ Ugh, how she dislikes being called "lady." It makes her think people hear her accent and lump her in with Orlesian nobles when she's far more average. ]

Transporting red lyrium is best done in warded boxes. And you by chance a mage? I could tell you what runes to place on the box. If not, then I would not advise unless you see them being sold here in Kirkwall. Then, yes, I would like you to bring them to me.

They do have some excess of furs. I believe I am currently draped in half of it.

[ There's a self-deprecating tone here. She knows she doesn't have the cold resistance the Avvar have. ]

Have they any fox pelts, in white or grey? Mink, or ermine?

I believe I saw fennec fur in white, or would that be too small for your needs?

I came across one of those merchants while we were there, making quite the outlandish claim as to his red lyrium source.

It very well may have been the same Inessa spoke to. What did he claim?

That he had taken the lyrium shard from the corpse of Meredith Stannard. I'm not saying it's completely impossible that someone did, but... it's unlikely.

People are selling fragments of red lyrium? [He sounds intrigued in the horrified sense. How were people managing to do that without... getting corrupted in any which sense]

No food related items? Shame. I would've asked for some cured meats, but that makes sense that they need it for themselves. Hm... Suppose I'll request for a number of furs if they have some to spare. They have better quality then those I've found here so far.

At least on Llomerryn, they were, yes. I can see it being an oddity that people would think to show off, if they were idiots, which sadly, too many are.

[ He may hear a rustle of parchment as she writes this down. ]

I am sure I can get you something, but you are the third person to ask for furs, so it may be I can only get you one fur. We shall see.

I would appreciate it if you can manage even that. I wasn't anticipating actually having a house in Kirkwall, and didn't consider the cooler weather. [A lot of it being because he didn't need that many blankets back in Skyhold due to sleeping in the armory.]

Yeah, I was with Fenris when he met that one merchant. We asked him, but he gave us the run-around at first, with this tangled-ass story that didn't name names. It took us a while to get anything in the way of names and even then I can't be sure if the sources are real. But I'll send 'em your way.

...I won't say no to good mead.

Thank you, Korrin. Fenris was good enough to mention the encounter too, but I would love any names you can provide, even if they are false.

Hmm, I shall see what I can do. They may want it for winter as well, though it is more for the taste than being a necessary thing. They are surrounded by water in the form of snow, after all.

Some of them sounded too eccentric to be real, unless they're aliases I guess. But I still wouldn't trust the guy. Anyone who deals in that shit is desperate or crazy or both.

I can't blame them if they want to hoard it for themselves, but thanks for at least trying. I've been nostalgic for Avvar mead, lately.
