[A wonderfully cheerful and deep voice booms over the crystals. Many have already heard this voice and know it to be attached to a giant red headed Rifter who always seems to be filled with joy. And for those who don't know him, well, they're about to.]

My friends of the Inquisition! It is I, Iskandar! Many of you have come to know me during my months here and for those who haven't I am eager to get to know you. As of this day I have taken the title of Head of the Forces Division.

[He sure does let out a hearty laugh as he lets that sink in.]

I greatly look forward to working with all of you in my Division as well as those of others. Should any of you have questions please do present them. I am sure that you will have many for I am not only a King but I am also a Rifter. Among other things. [Another laugh.]

My friends among the Forces. Once I have matters organized I may throw us a celebration of this new role of mine so I can meet you all face to face. Until then do stop by my office! I always look forward to the company.

I will be sure to submit a report on all our findings thus far. Last month in particular, we forced out Red Templars from one of our field research sites.

Impressive! If we can continue to do things like that then we should be able to take back a lot of resources by having those research sites on hand.

Yes, I believe there is much they can tell us about the red lyrium itself!

[ Her voice has gone from professional to more enthused. She's been studying red lyrium for almost two years now, and loves it when people take an interest in her work. ]

It is such slow work, to guarantee we stay safe from its effects, but we could save many lives if we better understand it. I suppose you have heard of the cleansing runes my team created to spread across the Gallows when we arrived?

That was one of the first things I read about actually! Were you leading the project at the time of that happening then? There is still much I need to catch up on so I am very willing to listen to all you have to share about this matter.

I was! It was really Samson's armor that was the key to creating the runes. Once we studied it to discover how it kept the red lyrium from corrupting his body, we were able to apply the method to runes to cleanse areas of it, and also better damage Red Templars in battle.

Those runes will indeed be very helpful to us going forth. I'm not too familiar with the runes of this world just yet but I was going to make that the next area I read up on.

Ah! If you know of good books on the topic then I would love to read them. The more knowledge I have, the better will I be at leading.

I know of one that those on my team have consulted. Working with runes is left to the dwarves and Tranquil, as it involves etching symbols into a blank runestone with lyrium. Anyone can place the runestones once they are complete, but someone such as myself -- a mage -- cannot craft them. As I would hate to take the book from them, I would be happy to order you a copy from another library.

Perfect! I will compensate you should this cost you anything as well.

Oh, you need not trouble yourself! I have a budget for this project, and since the money comes from the forces division itself, it is as though you have already given me the funds.

Ha! You raise a fair point in that! Wonderful then I will look forward to when the book arrives at my desk.

Not currently. I am still reading through all the papers for what has been done so far. However, I'm happy to answer questions for you as well! So if you have any then my crystal or my door is open to you.

I have many a title but these days I go by Iskandar. That will be a fine name for you to call me.
